The Spokane Area Workforce Development Council collaborates extensively with the business community to develop and maintain a well-trained workforce. A majority of representatives on our Council are from the private sector including Greater Spokane Incorporated.

Our major goal is to support local and regional economic development. We are seeking to develop a system that is capable of meeting the needs of both workers and employers in a rapidly changing economy. Our efforts incorporate initiatives in the:
